A government committee reviewing policing in the province is also looking at whether the organizations responsible for monitoring the police are doing their job, the committee’s chairwoman said Thursday.
Lacombe-Stettler MLA Judy Gordon heads a committee that has been conducting a comprehensive review of the province’s Police Act since October.
The act has not been updated since 1988.
