Officer faces hearing over cyber postings

The charge against Det. Jon Warkentin stems from a series of postings on a Web investment forum in which he hyped the shares of Medical Services International and castigated critics of the stock, including Jacquie Adams and her family.
The Internet postings were made in 2000, and Warkentin was identified only as “Seagull” and “SurLaMer.”
